JMC-RKFMA Seeks Forms for Media Courses

Jesus & Mary College in association with RKFMA invites admissions in three add-on certificate courses for 2015 session: 1. Media Studies (Duration: 6 months; Fee: Rs.15,000); 2. Advertising & Marketing Communications (Duration: 6 months; Fee: Rs.15,000); 3. Camera & Photography (Duration: 6 months; Fee: Rs.15,000).

Online Registration for DU's BJMC Course to Begin from May 28

The online registration for Delhi University’s (DU) undergraduate courses will begin from May 28 this year. This is the first time online registration will begin earlier than the offline one. The offline admission procedure will begin by June 5. For both the online and offline processes, the registrations end on June 15.

Delhi University's four colleges-- Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Delhi College of Arts & Commerce, IP College for Women and Kamala Nehru College for Women -- have figured in a recent list of the Top 10 Mass-Communication colleges in India compiled by India Today.

The offline forms will be accepted at the registration centres from June 5 to June 15 at Delhi University/ DU official website www.du.ac.in/du/

Over 60,000 seats in 61 DU colleges are up for grabs. The admission centres for Delhi University include Atma Ram Sanatan Dharm College, Dyal Singh College, Gargi College, Maharaja Agrasen College, PG DAV college, Rajdhani college, Shyam Singh College and Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce.

DU's 6 Colleges Offer Journalism & Mass Comm Course

Delhi University normally starts the process of admission for its undergraduate courses for its academic session in June. The university's six colleges that offer Bachelor with honours in Journalism and Mass Communication (BJMC) are Kamala Nehru College, Delhi College of Arts and Commerce (DCAC), Kalindi College, Maharaja Agrasen College, Lady Shri Ram College (LSR) and Indraprastha College for Women.

Delhi University's four colleges-- Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Delhi College of Arts & Commerce, IP College for Women and Kamala Nehru College for Women -- have figured in a recent list of the Top 10 Mass-Communication colleges in India compiled by India Today.

According to a India Today list of the Top 10 Mass-Communication colleges in India for those who wish to make a career in this field at graduation level, Symbiosis Institute of Media & Communication, Pune, is on the top. The list, which was released a few month back, includes four Delhi University's colleges-- Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Delhi College of Arts & Commerce, IP College for Women and Kamala Nehru College for Women.

Following are the important dates for IIMC Entrance Exams 2015

Sale of application forms begins from March 3, 2015

Last date for sale and receipt of application forms is May 8, 2015.

Entrance Examination for PG Diploma Course in Journalism Hindi/English
(9 am to 11 am), Radio & TV Journalism (12 noon to 2 pm) and Advertising & Public
Relations (3 pm to 5 pm) will be on May 31, 2015.

Entrance Examination for Odia Journalism will be on June, 1, 2015 (9 am to 11 am).

Interview dates: Last week of June /first week of July 2015

Academic session begins from Last week of July/First week of August 2015

Minimum Requirement: Graduate in any discipline. Students appearing in final year of graduate examination may also apply for the entrance examination.

Pattern for the Written Examination: There is no standardised pattern for the written
